Ateljéhus Pukeberg

The Pukeberg area houses The Art Studios of Pukeberg which are located in the brick building alongside the old glassworks of Pukeberg. 

There are seven studios all rented by professional artists creating a unique atmosfear for collaborative work and development outside the own studio. 

 

Some members have their studios in the Pukeberg area or in close proximity to the ​​Nybro municipality. In addition, artists, craftsmen and designers without a studio can become members and have the opportunity to work in well-equipped collective workshops and shared common spaces. 

 

The Art Studios of Pukeberg are one of many contributors to this active cultural center in Pukeberg, Nybro. 

Other actors in the Pukeberg area are Pukeberg's glassworks, the National Glass School, the Linnaeus University, the Design Archives, the lighting design company Zero, Kalmar County Handicraft Association, Nybro Art Association and Restaurant Hos Oss.

 

Adjacent is also the beautiful nature reserve Svartbäcksmåla with hiking, biking and ski trails.
